Nice but likely won't stay with kiddos again until they are 14

Clean, comfortable, convenient, valet was awesome, beds were super comfy.

Less good: We were not aware pool was 14 and up, so had some disappointed kiddos, room service scan was not left in our room along with continental breakfast.

    Very nice place

Very nice big room with beautiful city and large bathroom

Less good: We got back to the hotel at 11pm and only 1 elevator was working so we all had to wait for a long time.

Opening Day Game Stay at MGM

The valet was very convenient as a complimentary service for hotel guests. Check in was easy and the staff was helpful and friendly. The view was beautiful, as was our room! Large, immaculate, and very inviting, my husband and myself were tempted to get comfortable and spend the rest of our Detroit stay in the room but we had things to do and see while in the city. The minibar was stocked with all kinds of spirits and beverages, the bathroom was luxurious with a large two-headed shower, and we couldn't wait to come back and relax that evening.

Less good: Although it states that check out is not until noon, a housekeeper unlocked our door and began to come into our room mid-morning. For some reason, she thought that we had checked out when we had not. Although she apologized, it was unsettling.

    8.0Very good

    Super friendly staff.

Friendly staff. Great restaurants on site. Clean rooms.

Less good: Room was delayed. Could not check in until 6:30pm because of housekeeping staff shortages.

    A holiday tradition

The fireplace area. Beautiful wreath !!

Less good: Need more spa services

Everything was great, a bigger sign for the mini bar would be great. A friend didn't see it and I was charged for the charger even though it was left on the property. Other than that it was amazing, the room was huge as well as the bathroom, beds very comfortable all in all was amazing.

Less good: The lady who was working in the spa was rude. She assumed we were not hotel guests based on how we were dressed, all we wanted to do was to look at the pool and potentially swim. We left after this experience with this women.

    Excellent time.

Room was great and exceeded our expectations. King Bed with Sofa. Very nice bathroom facilities.

  • Knight, United States · February 2024

    8.0Very good

I liked everything about the room. it was clean and everything was in order. Staff was very helpful with this being our first time at an MGM.

Less good: I didn't like that you spent all this money on food for there to be no mini fridge or microwave in the room. I had to waste food because there was no place for me to put my leftovers.

  • Drew, United States · February 2024

    8.0Very good

    Well worth it!

I was there one night only. The room was spacious and very comfortable compared to the price I paid. It was warm and cozy thanks to the great heater.

Less good: I had to leave so early lol

  • Tammy, United States · December 2023

    Convenient and accomodating

The room was very clean and comfortable. All staff was friendly!!

Less good: That the very nice Steakhouse was closed
