    The unit had everything we needed. The shower pressure was great and the beds very cozy and comfortable. The host was extremely accommodating.

    Less good: Expect to pay $50 for early check in.

    Liked the location, was easy to get to. I really liked the setup, was clean when we arrived. Liked the charm that it had of being an older home.

    Less good: The parking situation wasn't explained unless I missed it somewhere but it worked out fine.

    Great location--was a couple of miles from where we needed to be that weekend. The neighborhood's really quiet, and has a couple of coffee shops less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The beds were the highlight, so comfy, it made getting up a struggle! The kitchen had everything we needed, as did the bathroom.

    Less good: Considering it's an older property, sound definitely travels. You can hear if other guests are staying in the other apartments in the building.

    Amazing house, perfect host but not so great impression of neighbourhood

    Overall it was amazing, great communication with the host and house had everything you need. Also private parking in the back was really appreciated. We loved how host was able to renovate house which is more than 100y old and still it kept its old magic.

    Less good: Pretty much only thing we did not entirely liked was the feeling and atmosphere of the neighbourhood. BUT we had no problems with anyone or anything, it was just showing how Detroit as a city fell from golden ages

    Like coming home

    I'm from Illinois so I love the old Midwest houses. This apartment reminded me of home. Old houses have unique architecture. It was simply cozy. I would book again if/when the opportunity arises.

    Less good: I thought that there were only two apartments. It took me a while to understand why it sounded like other people were above my head. I got scared a few times as they went up and down the stairs. It sounded like someone was in my apartment. Once I figured it out I was ok.
