9.0SuperbAmazing location in a historical spot in the heart of downtown Detroit.
Amazing location in the heart of downtown Detroit. Service and staff were impeccable - everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Room was huge and luxurious.
Less good: Breakfast selection was decent, but could be better.

10.0ExceptionalIf you are looking for a unique and memorable stay in Detroit, this is it!
In a phrase - classy and comfortable. I love finding out of the way places to stay, especially in historic buildings. I can't say enough about how happy I was with my stay and all aspects from champagne at check in, to happy hour in the library, to a soak in the grotto spa, and to a confortable and unique room.
Less good: Not a thing. Really.

9.0SuperbWill be back - such a charming place. Loved it
Loved the staff and property
Less good: Would have liked food choices on a Sunday and Monday, especially considering ordering-in prohibited and nearby choices limited.
