It was easy to access, super accesible to downtown, very cute and had all the necessary amenities for a quick or long stay
Less good: It could be cleaner. It was very dusty and the floors were not clean in the room. The lock on the door only locked well from the inside.

Perfect for a few days in Detroit. The house is filled with art pieces. The room was clean and the heater really appreciated. There’s also a kitchen where you cam cook some food and make coffee or tea. For international travelers like myself, it’s best to have a car to drive around the city.

Uta was an exceptional host who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Her house is a living work of art, filled with personality, creativity, and thoughtful details. This isn't a place for people expecting a polished four-star hotel—it's an authentic experience with real character. Some doors even have two handles, and while some guests might find that unusual, I found myself smiling and enjoying the playful curiosity of it. If you appreciate places with soul rather than perfection, you'll love staying here.
Less good: not a reflection on the property or host - City centre was further than i expected , I should have researched better. heaps of great spots around though including big store at the end of the road.

everything was so cool and fun to look at. my wife, cousin, and i stayed here 2 nights for a concert. everything from booking to checkout was smooth sailing.

8.0Very goodLots of arts on the wall can be a bit overwhelming. It seems some of them were added by the clients.
The price was reasonable for our budget. The kitchen was adequate for cooking small meals. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The grocery store and bus stops are nearby.
Less good: The kitchen cupboards are poorly organized, and most of their doors do not shut properly. The lever for the shower faucet is not there.
