    Our staycation was Amazing at the Shinola Hotel

    My husband and I enjoyed our staycation at Shinola Hotel. The customer service was amazing! We were greeted with champagne, and a warm welcome from our host. The room was clean, comfy, and centered with all the local restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities.

    Less good: I did not like the view. But if you looked far to the left you could see the cobblestone alleyway that leads to most of the restaurants.

    Great part of town sexy hotel great clientele . San Morello RESTAURANT was excellent within the hotel. It was very convenient. We were there for a medical school graduation. It was fantastic.

    Great value in a great location.

    Beautiful room; the hotel is in an excellent location. Overall very friendly and comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious food. The evening service was superb.

    Less good: Breakfast is good but the service is rushed and spotty.

    Breakfast (continental) was included and it was tasty and well presented. My son and girlfriend left their passports in their room. The staff found these and promptly called us. We were able to retrieve them quickly and prevented a difficult loss for us. Great work and I appreciate how prompt and professional everyone was at the Hotel. Will return again!!! Thanks

    Unique experience and friendly staff in the heart of the Motor City

    Kind staff, clean rooms and artsy vibes. Amazing location. They promote and give discounts to local businesses in the vicinity. Loved it!

    Less good: Seems the smart TV in our room had issues with connecting via phone as expected from the options that were offered. The thermostat had issues with the display to adjust settings. Being on Woodward avenue it can be a little noisy at night.
